Ladies!!!  We have a brand new health challenge called "Pound 4 Pound".  This is where we get healthier and lose weight at the same time.  I get so tired of the struggle of trying to lose a large number all at once, so I decided to do it one pound at a time.  It can sometimes be overwhelming to keep up with large numbers.  What ends up happening is that one person will reach their goal and the others either stop all at once or eventually fade when they don't reach their goals.  

 

We are changing that today.  We will celebrate with each other one pound at a time.  This is what sisterhood is all about.  I would love to share your recipes here with the ladies.  You can upload your recipes on the registration page in the comment section.  We are assembling our own pound 4 pound cookbook and would love to have your recipe in it.

Pasta A La Jordan

 

     1/4 Cup Olive Oil

         1 Box of Angel Hair Pasta (multigrain noodles)

         1 Large Tomatoe (diced)

     1/3 Cup Parmesean Cheese

         1 Boneless Chicken Breast Diced (optional)

 

Boil angel hair pasta per the instructions on the box.  Drain noodles and sit them to the side.  Pour olive oil into skillet and heat.  Pour noodles into oil and stir  until all noodles are oiled.  Add tomatoe and parmesean cheese.  Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.  Season to taste with salt and pepper.

 

Note:  If you are adding chicken, brown chicken and add before tomatoe and parmesean.  Follow directions as written.
